The Real Play City Challenge: Announcing the Shortlisted Entries

The Real Play Coalition is delighted to announce the 26 shortlisted finalists for the Real Play City Challenge 2022. The shortlist was selected from 94 entries, spanning cities and community organisations, creating the time, space and opportunities for play across four continents. The cities and urban practitioners shortlisted, have succeeded in creating playful placemaking initiatives whilst tackling the critical global issues of climate change, conflict and inclusivity.
The finalists were selected based on: community involvement, location, use of placemaking, impact/evidence and sustainable financing.
